Jennifer Navarre is a recent college graduate with a B.A. in English. She developed a skill and passion for academic writing early in her college career, and put this to use by working for three years as a writing tutor. Additionally, she has interned with her school’s literary journal and study abroad program, and she worked for a year grading student writing assessments. While she enjoys writing articles on grammar and the writing process, she likes to focus on the interplay between power, morality, and gender in literature when writing her own academic works. She hopes to attend Cambridge University to pursue an M. Phil. in English Studies in 2010.

When she isn’t writing for Suite101 or working on her graduate school applications, Jennifer enjoys reading grammar books, watching unhealthy amounts of anime, and entertaining her pet cat, Jack.
